Barker St. Detectives is the ONLY Nationally certified bed bug dog detection team in the state of Nebraska. Our certification is from NESDCA, the National Entomology Scent Detection Canine Association. Most pest control companies require dogs they work with to have NESDCA certification tests annually.

Clover is our bed bug detection beagle. She was trained in California by the renowned Stephanie Taunton, who is the trainer of choice for companies like Presto- X, Orkin and several small businesses. Clover has over 18 months of daily training in various environments. She practices daily with live bed bugs and viable eggs to ensure she is at the top of her game. When she finds bed bugs, she sits and points her nose to indicate where the bugs are located.

Cara is a certified bed bug dog handler and was a dog trainer with over 20 years of experience. She taught puppy, basic, advanced classes and was a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator for the American Kennel Club.
